JA Talents Mentorship Programme
A one-to-one mentoring initiative helping young people aged 18–29 strengthen the soft skills needed for education, employability, and early-career success.
About the programme
Through personalised mentoring sessions, participants are matched with experienced professionals who provide guidance, practical insights, and support through real-world conversations and shared experiences.
The programme remains flexible, participant-led, and focused on practical growth, reflection, confidence, and career readiness.
How it works
Mentors and mentees are paired according to the factors that matter most for a useful experience.
Once matched, mentors and mentees arrange their sessions independently using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or another online platform.
The journey includes 3–4 online one-to-one sessions of approximately 40–60 minutes each, scheduled flexibly between mentor and mentee.

Why mentoring?
Mentoring creates space for honest conversations, reflection, self-awareness, practical learning, and confidence-building.
The programme helps young people navigate a changing world of work with stronger skills, clearer direction, and meaningful professional support.
A strong mentoring relationship helps a young person recognise their strengths, ask better questions, and take the next step with confidence.
